With so many great outdoor activities on the Big Island it has been great to get out and get in the water at our amazing beaches as more and more the Big Island is slowly re-opening after the COVID-19 pandemic. 

One of the last properties I photographed before the quarantine was this amazing property, Hale Makamae O Kai.  It would be the perfect place to live being so close to so many great Kohala Coast amenities!  This ocean front home at Pauoa Beach, Mauna Lani’s Premier Oceanfront Community, sits halfway between the newly remodeled Auberge Mauna Lani and the Fairmont Orchid Luxury Hotel.  With access to the amenities of these two resorts Pauoa Beach Club also has its own ocean front pool and spa! I hope this message finds all of you healthy and in good spirits after the unprecedented shut down of our Country and State.

As the State/Country begins to open up its economy after the Covid-19 pandemic this message is to let you know that I look forward to taking on new projects and completing the projects that were put on hold. 

For those of you who sell luxury real estate and have already gone back to work or those planning for the rest of the year now is a great time to present your listings and projects in their best light possible.  People in the market for properties may not be able to shop in person quite yet, but they are looking at listings on line.  Images that have dimension are well-lit and composed that exude emotion will attract the most sophisticated clientele.  Photographers who consistently create these superior images are critical in today's competitive luxury market.  Having a proven photographer like me on your team will help distinguish you from the rest so you attract the quality clients and buyers you seek and achieve your 2020 sales goals. 

Simple, elegance.  That’s what I deliver.  No gimmicks, tricks or the latest toys.  It’s just me, my camera and some lighting.  There is no substitute for just spending time shooting the property... understanding the space, knowing the right time of day with the right light at the right angle to shoot. To me, it’s all about patience.  I'll spend the whole day curating light—12 hours or more—and stay into the evening in order to capture those fleeting after-sunset moments.  It is my passion to use my creative flow in crafting each image as we collaborate to achieve your vision. Ideal Places in Hawaii for Social Distancing /  by Ethan Tweedie

Now this would be an ideal place to social distance! See how these lounge chairs are at least 6ft apart? Of course these places are closed right now and while we wait for the quarantine to be over please enjoy this time as best you can, when things are back to normal we are all going to be very busy getting America back up and running.

Hoku'ula | Waimea | Hawaii Virtual Tour /  by Ethan Tweedie

Today’s COVID-19 virtual tour subject is Pu’u Hoku’ula. The literal meaning of Hoku'ula is Red Star in the Hawaiian language. It is the dominant Pu'u or hill in Waimea. It is sometimes referred to as Buster Brown and Knob Hill. I hope you enjoy your tour of my favorite Pu'u in my little town of Waimea!
