Hoku'ula | Waimea | Hawaii Virtual Tour by Ethan Tweedie

Today’s COVID-19 virtual tour subject is Pu’u Hoku’ula. The literal meaning of Hoku'ula is Red Star in the Hawaiian language. It is the dominant Pu'u or hill in Waimea. It is sometimes referred to as Buster Brown and Knob Hill. I hope you enjoy your tour of my favorite Pu'u in my little town of Waimea!

Wash your hands, don’t touch your face and stay safe!!

Aloha,

Ethan

Howard Hughes ‘A’ali’i Residential Tower at Ward Center | Rottet Studio by Ethan Tweedie

Here are some images from my recent photo shoot for Rottet Studio and Howard Hughes at Ward Center in Honolulu. The purpose of the photoshoot was to photograph the showroom which was built for pre-sales of the units in ‘A’ali‘i and showcase Rottet Studio’s design elements.

‘A‘ali‘i stands as a center-point of Ward Village, a community that’s redefining Hawaii’s modern lifestyle. Architectural Digest recently named Ward Village the best master planned community in the U.S. because of its attention to art, architecture and building community. Here, you can spend less time in traffic and more time doing what you love in a centrally located, pedestrian-friendly neighborhood within walking distance of Downtown Honolulu, Oahu’s best shopping, and Ala Moana Beach Park.

Rottet Studio is an international architecture and design firm with an extensive portfolio of corporate and hospitality projects for the world’s leading companies and brands. In the last decade, Founder Lauren Rottet, FAIA, FIIDA has developed Rottet Studio into one of the finest interior design practices in the United States

Howard Hughes owns, manages and develops commercial, residential and mixed-use real estate throughout the U.S. Our award-winning assets include the country’s preeminent portfolio of master planned communities, as well as operating properties and development opportunities including: the Seaport District in New York; Columbia, Maryland; The Woodlands, The Woodlands Hills, and Bridgeland in the Greater Houston, Texas area; Summerlin, Las Vegas; and Ward Village in Honolulu

Four Seasons Hualalai Golf Hale by Ethan Tweedie

The Golf Hale is a brand new state of the art amenity at the Four Seasons Hualalai that will be used for golf training/coaching, using the latest technology like TrackMan 4 Flight simulation, video analysis and assessment of biomechanics using TPI golf fitness performance.  If you are not a budding golf pro there is also a TopGolf Swing Suite Experience and if golf is not your preference you can try zombie dodge ball, soccer, football and baseball games.

The space indoors and outdoors can be used for group events with a large lanai with big screen TVs, indoor bar and snacks.

The brand new Golf Hale was photographed in January 2020 the week after most of the construction was completed and was designed by GT Design, Inc. and built by GM Construction, Inc. Photography by Ethan Tweedie Photography
